bss Appoints Jo Croft as Finance Director

bss, the UK's leading providers of customer interaction services, announced today that it appointed Jo Croft as Finance Director. Jo, a chartered accountant, brings with her over 18 years of commercial and finance experience. Prior to her appointment at bss, she was Chief Financial Officer at legal and financial service outsourcing company Merrill Corporation and VP of Finance at Amersham. At Merrill, Jo helped the company boost its UK profits and at Amersham she spearheaded a pan-European project to add shareholder value which led to its acquisition by General Electric.

2011 marked an extraordinary year for bss. The organisationsuccessfully operated and managed the helpline for the 2011 Census which received nearly one million phone calls. Contract wins included Halifax, British Heart Foundation and the Scottish Care Inspectorate. Itacquired M-Corp, a digital agency, to strengthen its mobile and web capabilities and bss also won the 2011 Outsourcing Contact Centre Provider of the Year at the National Outsourcing Association Awards (NOAAs).

Jo is proficient in French, German and Japanese and will be getting married in March this year. She is also a mentor at the Prince's Trust, supporting young people with business plans, funding and guidance to set up business. During her spare time she enjoys diving, sailing and travelling.
